Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Parable on the web or on iOS, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use Parable.
What Parable is
Parable generates interactive stories set in and around the events of the Bible, alongside a full Bible reader. The stories are imaginative retellings written by an AI model. They are not Scripture, they are not a substitute for it, and they should not be read as doctrine or as spiritual, medical, legal, or financial advice.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for activity that happens under your account. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and Parable is not directed at children under 13.
Your content and ours
Anything you write into Parable, such as a custom choice or a bio, stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it for the single purpose of running the app for you. The stories generated for you are yours to read, keep, and share. The app itself, its design, its name, and its prompt and generation systems remain ours.
Acceptable use
Do not use Parable for anything unlawful, do not try to gain unauthorized access to it or to other people’s accounts, do not attempt to disrupt or overload the service, and do not use it to generate content that is hateful, sexual, or abusive. We may suspend or remove accounts that do.
AI generated content
Stories are written by an AI model in response to your choices. Output can be inaccurate, can misremember details of a passage, and will vary from one journey to the next. Every story links back to the real account so you can read the source for yourself.
Availability and warranties
Parable is provided as is and as available. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above. Continuing to use Parable after that means you accept the updated terms.
